It’s Time to Come to Christ

Trump wins the Presidency here in America, Ok now pause and take a breath. Many are confused, perplexed, and down right angry but I say do not be afraid. We are not a people without hope. We can still stand in the face of fear and use our voices to denounce any policy that is seemingly absurd and distasteful. We can still stand shoulder to shoulder and March and lift our voices and be heard, this is still a democracy and unlike many nations “We Can” make a difference.

Countless are afraid because they perpetually put their hopes in politicians, and this is erroneous. Remain hopeful and allow no one to usurp your God given hope and rights. Exhale and stand tall. Neither Hilliary or Trump are able to truly save, the Bible declares “Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save” (Psalm 146:3) Hope in God alone, because it is He alone who truly has the power to save your soul. God bless you and be well, in the name of Jesus Christ Amen and Amen.

Spiritually Alive in Christ

Peace and an abundance of grace, from the Father and our LORD Jesus Christ. There is a stark contrast between the”flesh” and the “Spirit”, these two wage war against each other every waking day. In order for anyone to have access to “The Spirit” of God he/she must be born again for this is absolutely necessary,  “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” (John 3:17)

Since God is a incorruptible Spirit ( John 4:24), anyone who desires to be reconciled to God, must receive Jesus His only begotten Son thereby, joining together with God and dying to self. Jesus Christ declares to Nicodemus, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” (John 3:5-6)

The flesh is in a fallen state because of our first parents Adam and Eve, their sin in the Garden of Eden has brought forth a grievous thing to all of their descendants. But thanks be unto Jesus Christ who “condemned sin in the flesh,” (Romans 8:3)

“Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,  envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” (Galatians 5:19-20)

Let us walk according to “The Spirit” which produces good fruit, fruit that will last holy and acceptable to God. By Jesus’ death for us “we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God” (Rom 8:12-14) so living by the flesh results in death but if you are walking “by the Spirit” you will “put to death the deeds of the body (or flesh)” and live.

Do so Beloved of the Father of grace, in the name of Jesus Christ amen and amen.

To Brussels with Love

I urge every Saint that this post passes their eyes to pray for Brussels, They are in deep pain, as they were attacked by a senselessness and a disregard for human life. I myself have witnessed terrorism first hand, I lived just minutes from the Twin Towers in New York City when two airplanes crashed into them taking the lives of many. The carnage burned and smoldered two months after the attack, I woke up to black soot covering my face and inside my nostrils each morning.

I plead with all of you to stand firm in faith and assurance that our God is still on the throne. Jesus warned us of such things but He also left us with instruction.

Mark 13:8
“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows”.
Mark 13:23
“But take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand”.
Mark 13:13
“And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved”.

I pray Father that we will endure and remain in faith, Jesus has already warned us Father and now our eyes have seen. Father we need your guidance your strength and Spirit so that we may stand firm in unswerving faith. Father we pray for Brussels and all the families therein, may you “Yourself” Father, bring them peace that surpasses all understanding in the name of Jesus. Amen and Amen.
Matthew 10:28(NLT)
“Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell”.

Hold On to the Hand of God

John 3:35
“The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands”. What a wonderful verse of scripture, come to Christ and rest in Him. Allow peace to enter your heart. We were never meant to carry our own burdens, lighten your load and grab the loving hand of Christ Jesus.

Why Did You Come?

If you have come to Jesus, the wonder is that you already belonged to the Father, and the Father gave you to Jesus. You were not chosen because you came; you came because you were chosen. That’s what Jesus said: “All that the Father gives me will come to me. . . . Yours they were, and you gave them to me” (John 6:37; 17:6).

Commend Them to Christ!

Oh, you who want unfailing comfort, I commend you to Christ! In Him alone there is no failure. Rich men are disappointed in their treasures. Learned men are disappointed in their books. Husbands are disappointed in their wives. Wives are disappointed in their husbands. Parents are disappointed in their children. Statesmen are disappointed when, after many a struggle, they attain place and power. They find out, to their cost, that it is more pain than pleasure—that it is disappointment, annoyance, incessant trouble, worry, vanity, and vexation of spirit. But no man was ever disappointed in Christ. ~ J.C. Ryle
